Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp concerned about Ledley King's future
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has revealed his fears about the future of defender Ledley King. The Spurs boss admitted that he is worried about King after the defender failed to completely overcome his long-standing knee problems. 
King has been unable to train on a regular basis with his Tottenham team-mates due to a knee injury, something that has raised question marks over his ability to retain his place in the squad. 
Ledley King has spent the entirety of his senior career as a Tottenham Hotspur player, breaking into the side back in 1998. King is currently the longest serving member in the Spurs squad. The defender has seen his side transform from Premier League strugglers
into genuine title contenders in the space of a few seasons. 
Much of Tottenham's phenomenal success can be attributed to manager Harry Redknapp. The Englishman has turned things around at the club, playing a combination of new and experienced players to send Spurs rocketing up the Premier League rankings.

Speaking on King's future, Redknapp said, "He's got a problem with his groin and I'm not sure, really. He's got away with not training all week and playing on Saturday but I think it's starting to catch up on him now. You can't keep doing that for ever,
you have to train."
He added, "It's crazy that you cannot train once all week and then come in on a Saturday and be the best player. Now he's finding it more difficult - suddenly he's starting to pick up a few more injures."

Tottenham Hotspur are currently in fifth place in the Premier League standings with 48 points. The club are still in with a shot of breaking into the top four before the end of the season.
