Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp says AC Milan are scared of Gareth Bale
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has claimed that AC Milan are scared of Gareth Bale. The Spurs boss says that Bale is the best left winger in the world today, and he believes that the  AC Milan defenders will no doubt be quaking in their boots at the thought
of going up against the Welshman.
AC Milan will travel to White Hart Lane on Wednesday, 9th March to face Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16 encounter. Spurs have the upper hand in the tie, thanks to their 1-0 victory over the Italian
giants at the San Siro. Had http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 played in that match, Spurs could potentially have established an even bigger lead.
Gareth Bale put in a sensational performance the last time he played at the San Siro, scoring a hat-trick in the final ten minutes of the match. That was during Tottenham’s Champions League group stage encounter against Inter Milan earlier in the season.
Spurs went on to lose that match against Inter 4-3; however, Gareth Bale certainly left his mark in Italy.
Tottenham made it past the group stages, drawing AC Milan in the knockout stages and winning the first leg at the San Siro 1-0; a match that Bale missed due to injury. However, the winger will be fit to play in the second leg.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp believes that the mere presence of the winger will give his side a psychological advantage against the Rossoneri. Speaking about the impact that Gareth Bale has, Redknapp said, “I don't think there is a better left-sided player
around. He has got everything. The world sat up and recognised him after what he did to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 but he has been tearing teams to pieces for over a year.”
He added, “If Milan see him on the bench it will give them a few concerns.”
Bale will not be starting against AC Milan, but he will almost certainly feature at some point in the match. Tottenham did not require his services for their victory against the Italian giants in the first leg however, it never hurts to have a player like
Gareth Bale thundering down the left flank.
