Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker happy with regular first team opportunity
Tottenham Hotspur defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kyle-Walker-c21566 admitted he was still getting used to playing regular first team football this season. The 21-year-old England international has found himself in Harry Redknapp’s 11 man squad which is currently on an 11 match unbeaten
run.
The superb performance has found Tottenham Hotspur in the top four of the English Premier League table, with 10 wins in the last 11 games and one draw. The Spurs are currently just two points behind second place Manchester United with a game in hand.
Walker was confident like Harry Redknapp and the rest of the squad that the London side could indeed go on to win the Premier League title at the end of the season. While previously targeting just the top four for UEFA Champions League qualification, the
Spurs have new found belief for a place at the top of the league.
Walker said while speaking to reporters:
“You look around at the players who aren't getting games and sometimes I can't believe that I am even playing. There is quality and top-class players in there who are all internationals.
It's great to be around the lads because none of them have got egos, we all work as a team and it's enjoyable to be around.”
According to Walker, this was undoubtedly the best Tottenham Hotspur squad in a long time, which is why the confidence was at an all time high. The youngster revealed he was proud of being a regular part of the team, which could very well go on to win the
title.

team in 2011.
Walker continued:
“I always thought that I could do it, I just needed to be given the chance to prove to the gaffer here and to the supporters that I can play for Tottenham and I can play in the Premier League.”
