Tottenham Hotspur defender William Gallas revealed he was delighted to have helped his side maintain a clean sheet in their sixth match of this Premier League season against Norwich City.
The Spurs have managed to retain six clean sheets out of 17 Premier League fixtures this season, conceding just 11 goals during the process. Their two losses came against the top two current clubs, Manchester City and Manchester United.
It is partially the solid defence and quick attack that has helped Tottenham Hotspur find a place in the top four of the Premier League in the first half of the season. It was against Norwich City that the Spurs once again managed to retain a clean sheet

performance and win.
Gallas said while speaking to reporters:
“We played very well in defence, concentrated on what we had to do and kept the strikers quiet.
That is real satisfaction for the defenders, when you don't concede a goal. That's very good for us.
With my experience, I'm always wary about a game like that. Even if you score the first goal, you never know what can happen, so it was important to score the second, stay strong and that's what we did. Everyone was happy.”
Gallas joined the Spurs in the summer of 2010 and became the first player to have played for three London sides, having played for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 earlier on in his career. He went on to become a first team starter straight away, making 36 appearances
in all competitions in his debut season.
The Frenchman was rewarded with a two year contract extension after his first season, which will keep him at the club until 2012-2013. Even though he has not yet expressed his desire to retire, it seems he will do so at White Hart Lane whenever his contract
with the club expires.
