English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly amongst the host of clubs interested in securing the services of Filip Kostic.
The 19-year-old Serbian winger currently plays for Radnicki 1923, but could be on the way to a top European club after impressing everyone this past season. Amongst the many club, Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be interested in the services of Kostic.
Zarko Pavlovic, the Radnicki’s sporting director, confirmed that the English Premier League were amongst the many sides interested in the talent youngster. He mentioned the likes of Anderlecht, Udinese and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186, all of whom had reportedly shown interest
in Kostic.
Pavlovic said while speaking to reporters:
“Scouts of many clubs have been following him in recent months.
There are no secrets - we officially know about interest from Anderlecht, Groningen, Udinese and Porto. But I believe many other clubs have his name written down.”
While Pavlovic would not necessarily want Kostic to leave the club as soon as the January transfer window, the sporting director was aware of the fact that the winger would eventually leave sooner or later. He revealed they expected to make as much as two
million Euros for his sale.
He continued:
“There are talks every day, but we will not sell him for less than our valuation. We want two million euros (£1.7m) for him and anybody that wants him will have to pay that sum.
If you ask me, he will probably leave. He is a really great talent.
We could also use the money to strengthen our team in many positions.”
Kostic has made 17 appearances in all competitions for Radnicki 1923 and has managed to score three goals along with providing 7 assists. The youngster would make a terrific addition to any side, that is after some experience in a top league.
If Tottenham Hotspur do manage to sign the Serbian youngster, they will undoubtedly succeed in securing one of the most highly rated upcoming players. After sending him out on a loan move for a season or two, they will have an experienced player to play
for them in the first team.
