It seems like Harry Redknapp and Tottenham Hotspur’s hunt to bring in some serious changes to the team’s offensive line up, is going to see them making in audacious 40-million-pound bid for FC Porto’s Hulk and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Radamel-Falcao-c30276.
Tottenham have been looking to bring in changes to their squad since the start of the season and have gone on to line-up a number of players, who they felt could be the future at the club. However, with neither one of their past pursuits working in their
favour, it now seems like they will be looking to bring in Hulk and Falcao, both of whom have been highly impressive all season long for the Portuguese club.
Radamel Falcao
The 25-year-old Colombian international made the move to Porto from River Plate in 2009 and has since then gone on to score goals for fun at the club. Last term, the striker went on to score 34 goals in forty three appearances for the club and so far this
term he has scored 29 goals in 37 appearances with Porto.
Those stats are highly impressive and show the calibre that the player possesses. As a result, Redknapp feels that the consistently scoring striker is just the player he needs to revolutionize his team.
Hulk
Hulk joined Porto at the start of the 2008 season and has since gone on to become a household name around the world. The 24-year-old Brazilian, who can play as either a winger or a striker, has built a reputation for brining strength and pace to his team
and that is something Tottenham feel can really help them out.
The forward has managed to score 51 goals and has picked up 36 assists in 121 appearances for Porto. Those stats just go to show that the player can create just as many goals as he scores, hence making him the complete package to have.
Previously, the duo would have been well out of the price that Tottenham were willing to pay for any players. However, since now Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham, is willing to spend as much as is needed by Redknapp to reinforce the side, the club
are in a good position to land the duo. Given Redknapp’s reputation for trying to buy the best players at bargain prices, he might just be able to land both Falcao and Hulk for 40 million or less.
