Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp to make moves for West Ham United’s Scott Parker and Chelsea’s Didier Drogba
Tottenham Hotspur manager, Harry Redknapp is looking to reinforce the Spurs roster by making moves for two of the most influential players in the Premier League. The manager is reported to be looking to bring in the prolific goal scoring machine, Didier
Drogba from Chelsea, and West Ham United’s midfield general, Scott Parker.
Redknapp has been trying to develop his Tottenham side into a team, that can compete for top honours both, domestically and in Europe. In order to do that, the manager feels that there are a few key areas that he needs to reinforce, which include the midfield
and the teams attack line.
At the moment, Tottenham have the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tom-Huddlestone-c35227 and Sandro, from whom they choose their holding midfielder. However, both of those players, despite being good at what they do, just aren’t the cutting edge that the team need. At the same time,
the manager has shown his disapproval of the team's strike force and has already hinted that almost every striker at the White Hart Lane, could potentially be shown the door at the end of the season.
Scott Parker
In order to try and boost his midfield, more specifically in the holding midfield area, the manager has locked down Scott Parker to be the ideal man for the job. The manager has already gone on to try and sign Parker at the start of the season, but ended
up facing the wrath of West Ham in the process.
However, Redknapp feels that the time to land his man could be now or never. This is because the Hammers are currently battling the relegation zone in the League and look all the more likely to go down at the end of the season. If that is to happen, then
the 30-year-old midfielder, who joined the team in 2007, might just have to call it quits at Upton Park, in order to pursue football at the highest level.

Ever since the arrival of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, Drogba has been left on the benches on a number of occasions. However, with Torres failing to really make his mark, the team turned back to their goal scoring machine and were shown just what the forward
is really worth, as the player got the team back to their winning ways.
Despite that fact, it seems like Chelsea are looking to offload their 33-year-old Ivorian forward to any team that is willing to match their evaluation of the striker – which stands in at 10-million-pounds. With Tottenham currently possessing that kind of
funding, they are more than likely to make a move for the experienced striker, who has plenty of UEFA Champions League and Premier League experience under his belt.
According to most experts, the signing of Parker might cost Tottenham as little as five million pounds, while Drogba’s capture will obviously cost them around ten million. However, the only thing standing in Tottenham’s way now is the future of West Ham
and the willingness of Chelsea to let Drogba go to a team that can be considered their rivals.
