Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Gareth Bale, signs a new contract at White Hart Lane
Tottenham Hotspur’s winger, Garth Bale, has signed a new deal for four-and-a-half years at White Hart Lane on Saturday, confirmed by Spurs’ manager, Harry Redknapp.
Spurs’ boss told the club’s official website, “It's great to have Gareth sign a new contract at the club. He is a fantastic player and the type of player we need to be keeping at Spurs. Gareth is now one of the top left sided players in the world, he really
is an amazing talent and can only get better. He is a smashing lad as well which is equally as important”.
Gareth Bale has been a revelation at White Hart Lane since the start of the season. The 21-year-old Welsh winger has attracted interest from all over Europe after his strings of impressive performances in Tottenham’s debut UEFA Champions League season.

Tottenham manager, Harry Redknapp feels that Bale is the club’s most talented player and has shrugged off the interest from other clubs by claiming that the Welsh winger is not for sale at any price.

Bale joined Tottenham Hotspur from Southampton at the age of 17 for a reported £7million transfer fee in 2007.
The 21-year-old, who was initially installed in the left-back position at White Hart Lane, has already appeared in 112 matches, most of which came after he was being reinstated as a left winger.
