Tottenham Hotspur midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 predicts his team to win trophies in the future

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Gareth Bale, believes that his team is not far from winning the prestigious competitions like English Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
The Welshman is delighted to be a part of the team and believes that the club has a bright future ahead of them.
The Spurs participated in their first ever UEFA Champions League in the 2010/11 season and had a splendid run in the competition before being knocked out in the quarter-finals by Real Madrid.
The Lilywhites topped their group ahead of the reigning Champions http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan and went onto to beat A.C Milan in the round-of-16. The Londoners subsequently lost 5-0 over the two legs to Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.
Bale believes that the Champions League experience was invaluable and it will help him a lot in the future. Tottenham are currently placed fifth on the Premier League table and qualification for next season’s Champions League still remains doubtful for the
Londoners.
Bale has urged his team-mates to pick up their game to finish the season in the top four.
Talking to the reporters, Bale said:
"I don't think we are far from winning a competition like the league or Champions League but it is mainly the consistency that we need. We are new to the competition [Champions League] and it has been a learning curve.”
“We will continue to get better; we are a young team who will learn from our experiences. We have a h**l of a run-in, but if we beat the teams above us, then it will only be good for us and it will be in our hands.  We need to win every game. We will go
out there to win every game. We know that we are capable of beating all the other teams.” Bale concluded.
The 21-year-old is hopeful that his team will beat Manchester City to the fourth spot, like they did in the 2009/10 season.
With seven games left to play in the league, Spurs still have to play against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, Manchester City and Arsenal. It will be a tough task for the North London club to finish on the fourth spot.
