Modric downplays exit rumours
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857, has downplayed the rumours linking him with a move to a host of top English Premier League clubs.
Reports in the British media suggest that Manchester United, Manchester City and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are linked with the player and with Tottenham failing to finish in the top four, it is highly likely that a huge offer could prompt a move to go through.
The Croatian International has had a wonderful campaign with the Spurs and helped them to qualify for the quarter-finals of UEFA Champions League. When asked about his future with the club, Modric refused to rule out the chances of him leaving the club but maintained that he is enjoying his time at the White Hart Lane and is happy at the club.
When asked if he would still be with Spurs next season, Modric said: "I think so, you can't predict things in football because anything can happen. But I am enjoying it here. The fans are amazing, the club is amazing."
Manager Harry Redknapp is keen to hold onto his prized asset but a huge offer might tempt him to cash in on his star.

After falling out with the club manager, Vincenzo Montella, Menez is certain to leave Rome in the summer transfer window and a host of European clubs are interested in signing the Frenchman.
Pardew will have all of the 35-million-pounds from the Andy Carroll sale available to him to spend in the transfer market. The manager has scouted the player on numerous occasions and has recently admitted that he is close to signing a player.
Pardew said, “I think we're close on one player which we would like to get over the line. And I can say that because he's an international player - not someone who belongs to one of the bottom four battling relegation."
