Tottenham Hotspur misfit looking to move elsewhere

Tottenham Hotspur’s misfit and rather under-appreciated and underused player, Giovani Dos Santos is reported to have set his sights on a move away from the North London based team. The player is currently looking to move to the
Italian Serie A, with the likes of Genoa, Fiorentina and Roma all looking to get hold of the player as soon as possible.
The Mexican international arrived at the White Hart Lane in 2008, after impressing the world during his stay at Barcelona. The player cost Tottenham around five million pounds, but ever since his arrival, he has managed to start
only two Premier League games for the team. That means that the player has statistically started in only one game every year for the club, considering he has been there for the last two years.
However during his stay with Tottenham, the player has been loaned to various clubs, including the likes of Ipswich and Galatasary. However according to recent reports Genoa have come forth and offered to take the player on a six
month long loan.
Nonetheless Tottenham who are currently considering the offer, are opting to sell the player instead of loaning him out once again. The team is currently expecting bids around the region of six million pounds to be made by Roma
and Fiorentina as soon as the transfer window opens in January.
Tottenham are now more than convinced that the Mexican is of no use to the club, after he failed to convince the team to think otherwise over the two years that he spent with the team. The player might have arrived from Spain,
with bucket loads of potential, but his failure to adopt to the English style of play, is what caused him to become a major flop with Tottenham.
It was rumored to be only a matter of time, before the player did finally make his move elsewhere and it seems like the time for that move to take place is now or never. The player is currently on the back of a very successful
world cup display and has teams buzzing around to capture his signature. Tottenham are well aware of this fact and they also know that if they don't let go of the player now, they might have to keep him for another season or two and then risk losing him for
pennies, which is why the team will probably be more than happy to accept any offer that is made for the player in the near future.
