Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Rafael van der Vaart targeting early return
Tottenham Hotspur attacking midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has been ruled out for over six weeks following a hamstring injury, but the 28-year-old Holland international revealed he was targeting an early return. Van der Vaart’s injury early on in the season
means the out of form Spurs have lost a key player and will miss the playmaker in their upcoming fixtures.
The former Real Madrid man suffered the hamstring injury, which was reported to be a hamstring tear after scans, during the embarrassing 5-1 loss to Manchester City in the English Premier League. The club confirmed the injury and announced that they expected
Van der Vaart to be out for at least six weeks, which means he will be absent until early October.

miss the upcoming trip to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Finland-c2898 for the Euro 2010 qualifier fixture. Having previously sustained similar injuries, Van der Vaart was confident he would be able to make a quick recovery.
Van der Vaart said while speaking to reporters:
“It feels okay now. I hope in one to two weeks to make my comeback.
The past has proven that I can quickly recover from such an injury.”
Tottenham Hotspur travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers over the weekend in their next English Premier League fixture after highly disappointing opening fixtures. The Spurs will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 and will need all
