Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini revealed he was currently working towards earning a contract extension with the London club. The 38-year-old said he wanted to repay the club for the all the support they had shown him over the time he had been
with them.
Cudicini said while speaking to reporters:
“My contract is running out at the end of the season. At 38, year by year, you try to deserve a new contract so that's what I'm trying to do.”

have still given Cudicini a fair opportunity to make appearances.
He revealed:
“I still have the motivation to try to get into the first team. If you don't have that at 38 it's better for you to play golf every day instead.”
So far Cudicini has not yet started in the English Premier League but has had his chance in the Europa League. Despite his age, the Italian was offered a year’s contract extension this summer, something which has encouraged him to earn another year’s contract.
Cudicini continued:
“I am happy here. Of course everyone would like to play more games but I can be happy, I have everything.”
It was reportedly the manager Harry Redknapp who convinced the club chairman http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 under-21 international has a lot to offer to the London side which is why
his services should be retained.
Cudicini, who had a tough time recovering from the terrible injury, revealed the club and his teammates had played a huge role in his recovery and return.
He said:
"The club and my team-mates and the physios were very close to me and they helped me a lot during that time. I was working hard and I was seeing results, and that gives you the confidence to keep doing your best.”
