his services were no longer required since there was already an excess of strikers at the London club.
A few days before his move was finalized, Keane admitted he was looking to leave Tottenham Hotspur and claimed he would be happy with a move away from London. The 31-year-old striker has now officially completed his move to the MLS club, where he will join

Keane said while speaking to reporters:
“I am delighted, honoured and very excited to be joining the LA Galaxy.
I have always wanted to come and play in MLS so it's the perfect combination for me and a dream come true.”
Keane revealed he had received a welcoming phone call from both the LA Galaxy owner Tim Leiweke and the club manager Bruce Arena. He confessed that when Beckham had been training with the Spurs last season in January; he had spoken about the club which had
convinced Keane to make a move to the MLS side if he was to ever leave Tottenham Hotspur.
Keane signed with Tottenham Hotspur once again in the winter transfer window of 2009 for a fee of £12 million on a four year deal from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809. He made 39 appearances in all competitions and scored 14 goals before he was loaned out to Scottish outfit Celtic
in February 2010. He had a good run with Celtic, scoring 16 goals in 19 appearances.
He returned to White Hart Lane, but after a short spell of just 10 appearances was loaned out to West Ham United. Keane went on to make 10 appearances for the Hammers, finding the back of the net twice. It was then that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Republic-of-Ireland-c2987 skipper decided
he would leave the club in search of regular first team football.
Despite a poor run of form with Tottenham Hotspur in what was his second spell at the club, the Irish footballer said he was confident he would go on to do well at LA Galaxy. Keane said he was ready for a fresh start and said he was looking forward to scoring
goals and helping his new side achieve their aims and satisfy the supporters.
He continued:
“I am fit, fresh and ready to go. I've come here to score goals and help this team achieve their goals.
This is a massive opportunity for me in my career. I aim to grab it with both hands and hopefully help give the Galaxy fans what they want.”
