Tottenham Hotspur striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roman-Pavlyuchenko-c31639 linked with QPR, agent confirms
Roman Pavlyuchenko, the Tottenham Hotspur striker, was linked with a move to English Premier League side Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314. However, the player’s agent revealed the move was highly unlikely and had not been offered by manager Harry Redknapp.
It is almost certain the Russian forward will be leaving White Hart Lane, having made just two substitute appearances so far this season. He might not even wait until the end of the season and could just part ways with London club in the January transfer
window,
While he was initially linked with Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow, his agent was quick to deny reports that Lokomotiv were the only side they were considering. He revealed they were keeping their options open and were still reviewing offers.
Recently, Oleg Artemov, Pavlyuchenko’s agent, revealed the striker had been offered to QPR but insisted the striker did not want a move to Loftus Road. In addition to that, he added it was not Harry Redknapp who had come up with the move, suggesting it was
chairman http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-c9879 Levy.
Artemov said while speaking to reporters:
“This is true that Tottenham have turned to QPR. I know about it. The club has a right to do so as they have a contract with Roman.”
According to him, Pavlyuchenko had not yet decided on his future but it was highly unlikely he would agree to a move to recently promoted QPR. It is expected the 29-year-old would prefer a move to a European club instead, but it remains to be seen where
he will go off to.
He revealed:
“Before talking about it - if Roman wants to be a QPR player or not - we have to consider every detail. Roman hasn't thought about it yet.”
There were also rumours claiming the Redknapp had decided to exchange Pavlyuchenko for Loic Remy, the Marseille striker. However, Artemov denied the reports and claimed no such move had been suggested by the Tottenham Hotspur manager as was suggested by
the media.
The player’s agent continued:
“I've ready Harry's quotes. It should be understood that Roman wasn't offered to QPR by the manager.”
