London based English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have a host of top players they are considering bringing to White Hart Lane in the summer transfer window. Three of their top targets include FC Porto pair Hulk, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Audax-Italiano-c38557
right back Bryan Carrasco.
Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp is looking to strengthen his squad, both defensively and in attack. His previous attempts to lure the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Llorente-c13671 to White Hart Lane have failed and he now has new targets.
The 24-year-old Brazilian striker c*m winger http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hulk-c16436 has been in terrific form this season, which has earned him interest from top European sides. The FC Porto forward has scored 32 goals and provided 16 assists this season from 46 appearances in all competitions.
Even though it seems unlikely Porto would like to part with their terrific striker, Hulk seems to be intent on a move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749. His agent said while speaking to reporters, “He would really like to go to England where clubs pay well, but at the moment there
are no offers.”
Hulk arrived at the Portuguese outfit in 2008 after a spell in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rising-Stars-c40367 by UEFA that same season.
The Colombian international, Radamel Falcao, who often pairs Hulk in attack for Porto has also had an impressive season. The 25-year-old has been in excellent form all season and has scored 29 goals from 37 appearances this campaign.
Falcao joined FC Porto in the summer of 2009 after the departure of former striker Lisandro Lopez to Ligue 1 side Lyon. He went on to score a whooping 34 goals in his first season which earned him interest from the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863, AC Milan
and of course Tottenham Hotspur.
Redknapp is targeting the duo in hopes that they will continue their successful partnership at White Hart Lane. The English manager does not want to risk bringing in strikers from different clubs, who have not previous experience of playing together.
However, if the pair does end up at the London club, it will mean the end of first team football for existing strikers http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robbie-Keane-c31215, with the latter two already close to a White Hart Lane exit.
The Spurs are also eyeing 20-year-old Chile under-21 international Bryan Carrasco to replace http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-Hutton-c4253 in defense. The Chilean youngster can play on the right wing, meaning he often makes surging runs forward.
He is expected to cost Spurs an estimated £1.5 million and with the amount of interest he has generated, it’s only a matter of time before the right-back makes a move to a European side. So far Tottenham are in the lead for signing the player in the summer.
