Tottenham Hotspur and West Bromwich Albion took on each other, in a game that both the teams were looking to win.
The match kicked off with Tottenham dominating the proceedings early on, while West Brom looked to create a chance for themselves every now and then.
However, despite the best of efforts from both the teams, neither side was really able to  find the back of the net, or take a shot at goal, which seemed like it was intended to go into the back of the net.
However, just before the end of the first half Bale passed the ball to Defoe, as he sent a shot straight at goal. Foster, was easily able to gather the ball, as the striker’s effort wasn’t the best and the ball got caught in his feet before being unleashed.
In the 65th minute, Defoe saw a goal get ruled out, as he was in an offside position when he scored. However, on the break, Lukaku came close to scoring, but saw Friedel make a fine save to deny his side conceding a goal.
Tottenham finally managed to break the deadlock in the 74th minute, as Assou-Ekotto found the back of the net.
A corner was whipped in by Sigurdsson, but his pass was headed out of the danger area. The ball fell to the full back, who struck at goal from distance. His shot seemed like it was sailing wide of the mark, but after hitting a West Brom player, it went on
to sneak into the back of the net, as it left the keeper stranded.
West Brom didn’t give up hope and continued to attack their opponents until the very last minute. In stoppage time, West Brom went on to level the score as Morrison found the back of the net. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/William-Gallas-c36874 went on to head the ball out of harm’s way, only
to see it fall to the West Brom player. Morrison then went on to side foot the ball and send it sailing into the back of the net with ease.
As a result, the game ended in a one all draw, with both the teams sharing the points on the night.
