Tottenham Hotspur want Asamoah Gyan; Mark Hughes to stay at Fulham: Premier League Gossip
Tottenham Hotspur to try and snap up http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Asamoah-Gyan-c6791 from Sunderland
Tottenham have been linked with more strikers in recent weeks then people can count, however, it seems like the team has now gone from being linked with almost every forward in the world, to players that they could potentially snap up in the summers.
It is now being reported that the latest player on Harry Redknapp’s wish list is none other than Sunderland’s Ghanaian forward, Asamoah Gyan. The striker arrived at the Stadium of Light at the start of the season and has gone on to be highly impressive for
the Black Cats. The player has managed to make 31 appearances for the team so far and has managed to find the back of the net on 12 occasions.
However, Redknapp feels that should he make a move for Gyan, he would be able to get the best out of the player and feels that despite Sunderland having paid 13 million pounds for him at the start of the season, they will be willing to let go of him for
much less.
At the moment this rumour seems nothing more then, a rumour to say the least. However, there might be some credibility in this transfer story in the near future.
Mark Hughes to stay at Fulham
Fulham have been given a sigh of relief, as it now seems like Mark Hughes is not going to be going anywhere at the end of the season. The manager was previously believed to be on his way out of the team, should another opportunity present itself to the 47-year-old
Welshman. However, it now seems like that will not be the case.
The reason is that Fulham are now set to make a massive 20 million pounds available to the manager with which to buy players at the end of the season, and that seems to have done the trick to convince him to stick around for much longer.
Should Hughes be given that budget in the transfer kitty, the manager will be able to evolve the club around his philosophies and make it better suited to his style of management. Which in simple words means that, should the manager be given a lot of money
to spend, he will stay, if not; then he is bound to be on his way out of the club.
At the moment, possible destinations for the player range from Aston Villa to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, which means that the manager might have a lot of options to pick from at the end of the season.
