Tottenham Hotspur will decide Niko Kranjcar’s future, reveals his agent – EPL News
Tottenham Hotspur’s talented midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Niko-Kranjcar-c27926’s agent, Adrian Aliaj, has confirmed that the Spurs will decided his clients’ future as the Croatian has been heavily linked with a move away from the White Hart Lane.
The former Portsmouth attacking midfielder endured an injury-plagued last season and failed to make an impact at the north London club. Since the start of the current transfer window, Kranjcar has been strongly linked with Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev, Italian club Fiorentina, Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.
Dynamo Kiev have publicly spoken of their desire to sign the under-fire Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, claiming that Kranjcar is their top transfer target of this summer transfer window.
Moreover, it has also been reported that Wolfsburg also want the Croatian midfielder, who is seen as a perfect replacement to their want-away midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diego-c11058.
Kranjcar’s agent has now claimed that his clients’ future will only be decided by Tottenham Hotspur, whether they want to keep him or not.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adrián-c3701 Aliaj told the reporters, “At this moment I cannot comment on any market rumours, it is for Tottenham to decide whether the player leaves or not.”
Kranjcar started only two Barclays Premier League games last season despite the Spurs’ heavy schedule. They were playing in four different competitions: UEFA Champions League, Barclays Premier League, FA Cup and the Carling Cup.
Moreover, the 26-year-old midfielder featured in only 21 games last season and his agent believes that Kranjcar needs more first team action at Tottenham to prove his worth. Aliaj also refused to comment on any transfer speculation related to his client.

He said, “I read a lot of news about him in newspapers, but his future is in the hands of the English club. Niko has a contract with Tottenham, and then I cannot say if he wants to stay or not. Certainly his priority is to play with more regularity.”
Kranjcar joined Tottenham Hotspur for a fee believed to be £2.5 million on the deadline day of the 2009 summer transfer window. However, the Croatian international failed to establish himself in Harry Redknapp’s starting eleven and played a bit part role in the Spurs’ campaign, where they reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
