Bale revealed he was willing to put up with the rough tackles as long as he was delivered justice.
Bale said while speaking to reporters:
“It's not nice but I suppose it's a compliment when you're playing well and people want to drag you down.
There have been two sent off in the last two games, so they can keep kicking me if they want as long as they get sent off.”
The left-flank player who is well known for his long runs, scored against Wigan last weekend. Bale revealed he was extremely pleased at having scored for his side over the weekend and hoped to continue his scoring streak for the Spurs. Most of his recent
goals have been headers, but Bale said he was looking forward to scoring more goals in the upcoming fixtures.
He said:
“It's always good to get you head on it and get a goal.
I've scored a few goals in the air now. Hopefully, I can score a lot more, on the floor and in the air.”
