Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale would consider a move abroad if an opportunity arises - EPL News
Wales and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Gareth Bale has stated that he would consider a move away from Tottenham to a bigger club if some offer arrives in future. Several top European clubs are interested in the Welsh wizard after he gave a string of sensational
performances for Tottenham; the player has scored seven goals in the Barclays Premier League in 25 appearances for his club.
In the UEFA Champions League, Bale’s hat-trick against Italian side Inter Milan was stunning to say the least. Furthermore, he has helped Tottenham to qualify for the quarter-final of the competition.
Recently, Bale signed a four-and-a-half year contract with Tottenham, however, a move away from White Hart Lane is possible if a 'great' opportunity presents itself. Italian club Inter Milan and Spanish giants http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38605 and Real Madrid are few of the clubs
that are looking to secure the services of the 21-year-old.
It is reported that Bale likes the football style played in Spanish La Liga and if indeed the player travels abroad, his destination could be Spain.
Bale told Spanish newspaper AS, "You never know, but I'm not afraid to leave the country. If a great opportunity arises you need to seriously consider it. I left home at 15. If I leave the Premier League, I'll learn another language, I'll know other people,
another country, I will grow as a person. There aren't more British players abroad because the league is very strong, but now yours (Spanish La Liga) has got Cristiano (Ronaldo), (Lionel) Messi ..."
At present, Bale is happy with his form for Tottenham and the player stated that he is focused on putting in good performances for his club both in the Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
Currently in the ongoing 2010-11 season Tottenham are placed fifth in the BPL table and are Challenging fourth placed Manchester City for the final Champions league spot whereas in the ongoing Champions League campaign Tottenham face Spanish giants Real
Madrid for a place in the semi-final. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422 has been declared fit to play the match, after slight doubts of his inclusion in the team owing to an injury he sustained.
For the first leg of the quarter-final, Tottenham travel to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium on the 5th of April, 2011.
