Im a big BIG spurs fan and i believe that we dont need Keane and Berbatov to be a good team. I think that our summer signings are good enough to be a BIG team although we have lost against Sunderland and Middlesborough? Whats gone wrong, is it Ramos' tactics, players fitness or Berbatov's departure has upset the player effecting there performance? Please im just going to delete gooners hating comments.

  1. I think Ramos did get his tactics wrong for the Boro and Sunderland game as Berbatov should have started the Boro game and most of the midfield were playing out of position in the Sunderland game.

The Berbatov situation has helped one bit. Thank you very much Whiskey nose! But its not just the tapping up of Berba but what he said, or should I say shouted, on the coach after the Boro game to JJ. This doesn't help team morale at all.

I think things will get better sooner rather then later. There will be a couple more signings by Tuesday morning and once they've started training together, as long as Ramos starts playing people in there right position, we'll go marching up the table.

As of yesterday, I actually think we could get something at Stamford Bridge as probably no Ballack and Essien, still no Drogba and Robinho, if he does sign, wont be playing.

Glad to hear your Tottenham til you die as I am too! COYS!

  2. i think they need a new center back to hold the defence together. Or get some more experienced players

  3. just give it time bent is being asked to much with the Russian striker about to come and maybe another defender we will be all right just keep the faith ........................

  4. Poor team chemistry, i suppose. Most of the players at Spurs are new and are not used to playing with each other. They'll gel in well with the squad as the season progresses.

  5. Well, you have a top manager, top class players, and a blend of youth and expierence-So who knows?!!!

Well, for me, you have signed lots of players-foreign goalkeepers take a while to adapt, Modric and Dos Santos are used to playing in far less physical leagues, and also there is a huge lack of balance.

You cannot play Jenas and Modric together in the centre without someone putting there foot in. I'm not a fan of Zokora but you have to play him in there and put someone else at right back while Hutton is out.

Also I don't think the players understand how you are playing. I mean Lennon Modric Jenas Bentley Bale and Bent- All are attacking players and you need to have Huddlestone or Zokora in there! This morning you have been linked with Veloso of Sporting Lisbon-He is not the answer, Again he is light weight and will take a while to adjust.

Also the whole Berbatov thing won't be helping-Also Robbie Keane was massive for you.

I think Tottenham will get it right, But this is only Juande Ramos's first full season in charge and it will take time for all your players to adjust. You need atleast two forwards with one being a main striker. Pavlychenko is a really good player but again he will take time to adapt.

I think everyone has got far to carried away with Spurs and the expectations are probably one season too fast. Keep the faith in Juande-He is a world class manager with great pedigree.

A bit of balance in the team and time is all it will take.

  6. it's the chemistry i think.

look at both matches and you can see some flashes of brilliance from the new attacking side of tottenham.

just that sunderland and boro trying to get physical and limit the amount of space totty can have.

    well, but we'll see....................

  7. The teams just not good enough, you were in the same half of the league as sunderland and middlesborough, so why are you surprised?

Going for played 3 lost 3 this weekend LOL - and folk are laughing at Arsenal

  8. I'm a big Spurs fan too. We can do without Keane & Berbatov if there is someone to replace them. Sorry, but Bent isn't good enough. No doubt the team is taking time to gel. The disruption caused by the Berbatov saga can't be helping either. I am pissed off about the club's greedy, overinflated demands for him. If they don't sell him by Monday then this will cause more problems until the January transfer window. Hopefully the Russian striker they are in the process of purchasing will help.

My brother and I have managed to get my nephew (now 7) to support Spurs too. My brother didn't want him jumping on the Man Utd/Chelsea/Arsenal bandwagon. The Carling Cup win last year was a great boon in this. His first season supporting them and they win a cup.  He will just have to learn it's not all glory at White Hart Lane hmmm. By the way, why does he keep talking about David James......? England or something I hope. Gulp, what side for the Croatia match?

  9. They are not buying the right players, Modric, Bentley, Dos Santos. Is there a tackler there ? ball winner ? No. They'll struggle this season, big time.

  10. They buy too much midfielders. Jenas and Modric must sacrifice one of them. Bentley and Lennon cannot play left mid because they are right footer so must sacrifice one of them too.

  11. you should lose some weight then

  12. to be honest mate i think it was  a mistake sellin keane but berbatov is a complete waste  of space he got his name and then just sat back and plays when he wants to play
