Tottenham Hotspurs are going to sign the Ajax star Luis Suarez
We all know about the impact that the “almost for free” Rafael Van der Vaart provided the Tottenham Hotspurs midfield with. The Dutch star joined the English side for petty cash and he is definitely showing Real Madrid that it was a mistake to let him go.
However, the Spanish giants are on their way towards winning the title already as they are on top of the table without him.
The recently transferred Van der Vaart is an extraordinary talent in the midfield and he is doing wonders playing alongside Luca Modric and Jermain Defoe. He is often seen scoring goals and he is happy while playing for the Premier League club. Tottenham
Hotspurs recently managed to defeat the current UEFA Champions League winners Inter Milan as Van der Vaart gave out an “out-of-the-world” performance even though he was injured. It was the Dutch star who managed to find the first goal and helped his team move
forward.
As most of the European players saw the “big game” between Hotspurs and Inter Milan and saw how the English side totally thrashed the Italian Champions, the Ajax star Luis Suarez was the one was totally impressed by the way Van deer Vaart performed. The
Ajax star Suarez saw how the Dutch midfielder Van der Vaart made his way to the top. He was also a part of the Ajax academy and was later transferred to Real Madrid and now he is performing for Tottenham Hotspurs.
The Uruguay’s FIFA World Cup 2010’s sensation Luis Suarez is currently performing fabulously for the Ajax side. Last year he had 49 goals from only 46 games that he started and that is simply a sensational record. The Uruguayan striker has been under the
radar for a long time as well and he is expected to make a move this summer as well. He was expected to make a move last summer as well but the transfer talks collapsed between any team who were trying to sign him. The Dutch side wanted at least 40 million
pounds for the striker and no team was willing to give such large amount for the youngsters. However, he proved himself this time round as by being the captain of the club he helped them lead the points table.
The Ajax star is now looking to follow the steps of the former Real Madrid man Rafael Van der Vaart but the striker is going to be skipping that one big step that took Van der Vaart to Real Madrid. The Uruguayan is looking forward to joining Van der Vaart
in Tottenham Hotspurs as the English side are also interested in signing him.
With Luis Suarez in the Tottenham Hotspurs squad, there is definitely nothing that is going to stop them from scoring goals as they already have Pavlyuchenko, Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch in the line-up. Now with Suarez in the squad, the team is going
to be even stronger. However, nothing is finalized yet as the Dutch club has not given out a final statement about the price that is going to be attached with Luis Suarez.
