Tottenham Hotspurs versus Aston Villa – Preview (Part 3)
After finishing at the 6th position in the Premier League last season, (which was impressive) the Lions have had an even better start in current season.
Last season they thwarted Liverpool to reach the top half of the table and this season their intentions are the same. Their magnificent performances having led them to acquire 10 points from 6 matches and a 5th position on the list.
Aston Villa’s defender, Richard Dunne is making a comeback in the match after being ruled out because of a knee injury. However, this good news is paired up with a bad news, as reports have it that striker Gabriel Agbonlahor is still on the bench with slow
recovery.
Republic of Ireland’s international feature, Dunne, missed the Carling Cup encounter against Blackburn and the league derby clash with Wolves. He started his training and practice sessions again with the team this season, after scans cleared him for matches.
Houllier immediately called him back for duty and he will now pair up with James Collins-Carlos Cuellar in the attack.
Agbonlahor on the other hand had a minor groin surgery last Monday and is expected to be out for 2 weeks. After some good performances Emile Heskey will be looking forward to score in his third consecutive match after Houllier confirmed his fate in the aging
forward.
