Tottenham Hotspur manager, Harry Redknapp, has revealed that he was interested in signing Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rovers-c40385’ young defender, Phil Jones, who has decided to join Manchester United.
It has been reported that the Rovers’ young defender has completed his medical test with Manchester United and will sign a 5-year deal with the Red Devils in coming days.
Redknapp admitted that he was desperate to sign the young English defender and believes that it is a great signing for Manchester United.
Harry Redknapp added, “I was in for Phil Jones. We were interested in him but it looks like he’s gone to Manchester United. I think he’s a great singing for Man United.”
