The London-based club have been monitoring the AS Nancy Lorraine defender, for a while now and have included the 20-year-old in their shopping list prior to the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a move away from Stade Marcel Picot for a while, with Tottenham Hotspur keen on securing the services of the young Frenchman in January transfer window. The player is valued at £6.5 million by his current club, AS Nancy,
who are determined not to sell the player below that price.
Massadio Haidara proved to be among the revelations last season and still continues to impress his critics following his solid performances. The Frenchman has been featured 11 times in the league this season, and seems to be a reliable full-back despite
his inexperience.
The defender has gained praise for his fast pace and flair to attack. The player was approached by Premier League club, Aston Villa last summer. However, their £2 million offer was rejected, prompting the full-back to stay with the French outfit till the
end of his contract.
However, that doesn’t stop the Spurs from their pursuit of the 20-year-old, as they seem interested in signing the young prospect. With Tottenham’s manager, Andre Villas-Boas, admiring the Frenchman’s talent as a full-back, the player might find himself
moving to White Hart Lane this transfer window.
But it seems like that the London-based club is not the only one who appear to be keen on signing the left-back, with interest from clubs like Serie A outfit, Fiorentina, and French giants, Paris Saint-Germain, it could prove to be a tough battle for the
signature of the young player.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 Under-21 international seems content at the Stade Marcel Picot, and was flattered by the escalating interest in his talent as a player. While responding to the interest from PSG, Haidara said:
“This is a big surprise. PSG is not the same team as two years ago, when people talk about them now it's about great players who are known the world over. It's flattering, it's nice.”
Despite interest from several clubs, les Chardons are yet to receive an offer regarding the defender. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AS-Nancy-c38468’s sporting director, Eric Martin, has claimed that the transfer saga of the young Frenchman is nothing but a fuss created by the media, and there
have been no concrete offers for the player so far. The director explained:
“There are many clubs interested in him, but we haven't received a concrete offer. The press say a lot, but for now, he remains a Nancy player.”
