Tottenham Hotspur have been reportedly keen to offload midfield duo http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Bentley-c10435, with the former having completed a recent move to Russian club FC Rostov on loan.
With the recent influx of midfielders at White Hart Lane, Spurs were understood to offload existing squad members to make room for the new arrivals.
The North London club recently sold Dutch attacking midfielder Rafael Van Der Vaart to German club Hamburg and star playmaker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Luka-Modric-c22857 to Spanish giants Real Madrid. Both players had been two of Tottenham’s most influential and vital starters, but have
now exited the club.
Tottenham signed Belgian playmaker Moussa Dembele and attacking midfielder Clint Dempsey from Fulham to fill in the holes left by the departures of Van Der Vaart and Modric. Both players arrived just a few hours before deadline day in surprise moves that
no one had anticipated.
The new acquisitions left question marks over the futures of players such as David Bentley and Jermaine Jenas, who had not been able to feature in the Spurs starting line up for quite some time.
Earlier this summer, Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas had said that he wanted to give Bentley a chance to prove himself, but it looks as if the manager has back tracked on his comments.

team since November 2010.
The 28-year old spent last season on loan at Birmingham, and then was expected to move to Upton Park to serve another loan spell with West Ham United. However, a knee injury had prevented him from getting any playing time with the Hammers and the player
spent much of his time in recovery.
Jermaine Jenas is another player that Tottenham wish to offload. The player spent last season on loan at Aston Villa, but he also experienced an unlucky break with injuries that kept him on the sidelines for 6 months.
Injuries had also hampered his progress with Spurs, and the midfielder never fulfilled his potential. At the moment, Tottenham are still looking for a club who would take the player on a season long loan.
