The Olympique Lyonnais shot-stopper has been linked with a move away from the Stade de Gerland and the English Premier League side have made the first offer for the France international
Following http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-Lloris-c16408, English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made their first offer to the Ligue 1 player for the goalkeeper.
Yesterday, Aulas said that he will sell Lloris if a prestigious club makes an offer for him and that the club has to make a fair market value offer for the player.
“I spoke with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hugo-c16384 before the Euros and we agreed that if he had opportunities with some clubs, he will need to receive a good output equal to that of the market one year ago at Manchester United and Bayern Munich.”
Both European giants paid a lot of money for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 in June.
The first club that made an offer for the 25-year-old was http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429. The Gunners reportedly offered Les Gones 15 million euros for the Frenchman but Lyon rejected the proposal. A fee in the region of 20 million Euros has been cited to secure the services of
the former OGC Nice man.
Reports now claim that Tottenham have taken a small lead over their bitter London rivals for the player’s signature. Le Progress suggests that the Spurs have made Lyon an initial bid of 15 million Euros for the services of the talented custodian.
Though the offer is nowhere near to what Aulas has in mind, it should not be a problem for the English side who have a transfer budget of 100 million euros this summer. However, the question remains whether Lloris would be tempted by a move to White Hart
Lane.
The shot-stopper says that he wants to join a big European club and with Spurs playing in the Europa League, Lloris might not be that excited with the idea of joining the London side.
