Tottenham willing to drop Becks bid: Harry Redknapp
It has been reported that Tottenham Hotspur would be willing to drop http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Los-Angeles-Galaxy-c39818 continue to demand Beckham's return by next month.
The former English captain is currently training with Tottenham Hotspur and still hopes that he will feature in Tottenham colours in the Barclays Premier League.
However, the MLS season will commence from March 15 and David Beckham’s parent club, Los Angeles Galaxy, want their talismanic midfielder back in USA by the end of February’s second week.
Harry Redknapp told the reporters that if David Beckham is allowed to stay at London until February 10 then it would be useless to sign the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 captain.
The English manager added, "I would have liked him to play, if he could have come to the end of the season it would have been great. I didn't know it was only going to be two months at best. When it was mentioned, I thought 'yeah, to the end of the season
it would be good'. Then, suddenly two months becomes a month, and only if we got permission. By the time he's fit, just to throw him in for three or four games would be difficult."
Moreover, Tottenham Hotspur also sent their right midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Bentley-c10435 on loan to Birmingham City in order to create a place for David Beckham. But now, Becks’ dream return to the Barclays Premier League seems uncertain.
Furthermore, it seems like Everton’s want away playmaker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Pienaar-c34208, is Harry Redknapp’s next target in this winter transfer window. It was earlier reported that Everton have accepted bids from two clubs out of which one was allowed to talk to the South
African play maker and now White Hart Lane is likely to be Pienaar’s next destination.
However, it seems it is Tottenham’s busy transfer month, as their want–away striker, Robbie Kean is also reported to join Birmingham City after finding himself down the pecking order at White Hart Lane.
