What is touch response on a keyboard? I know what touch sensitive keys are, is it the same, just another name?

The touch response on the keyboard is a funtion that allows the keyboard to be like a real piano, in the sense that if you bang the key hard (which you should NEVER do), it will make a louder note. Pressing softly on the keys will let the the note be softer. This allows dynamics to be played on the electric keyboard.

    If you are starting piano, and want to buy a keyboard to practise on, then one with Touch funtion would be one of the best. Another good idea is to get one with Touch, as well as weighted keys, which make the keyboard keys just like a real piano.
