Touch screen not responsive

Question

My touch screen "moves". Instead of being able to touch right on the design or the stitch to select it I have to touch 1 inch to the right. I have taken it for repair on 3 different occassions and it is good for one project and then it may move to the left. Currently it is split to the right and the left (meaning that if I need a stitch that is located on the far right or left side I am not able to access it because touching on that portion of the screen will select a design that is in the middle of the screen.I have a Janome 9000 sewing machine. The touch screen doesn't respond. Can I get a part to repair it myself? Could it be a loose conection?
