  1. It's a bit old, but I don't recommend the LG VX9900 (the enV), if you're on verizon. A few months after owning one, I noticed it randomly shutting off, despite having a full charge. Many people I know had the same problem.

  2. what company are you on?

If your going with AT&T, i recommend a blackberry curve. It's thin, lightweight, and easy to use. it has a FULL QWERTY keyboard for easy texting and email, and it has a great camera and Mp3 player.

If your on the T-Mobile network, then the Blackberry Curve, Sidekick 2008 and T-Mobile Dash would be good options for you. All are smart phones with full QWERTY keyboards, so they're good for texting.

If your on the sprint network, i recommend also a blackberry curve, or a Sprint Rumor. The rumor isn't a smart phone, so its a bit easier to use. it offers an alphanumeric keypad and a QWERTY keyboard.

If your on the Verizon network, i recommend an enV2. The EnV2 isn't a smart phone, so you don't have to pay for any data plans. It doesn't have a touch screen, so you don't have to worry about horrid battery life, and it has a full keyboard for texting.

the LG dare is also a good option if your on verizon. The camera is superb on it, its thin, and it has a full touchscreen keyboard

  3. for Verizon...the LG Voyager...I have had it for 7 months and love it....touch screen AND full QWERTY keyboard.

  4. The AT&T Tilt has both; you could use a touch screen or the keyboard.  So does the Palm Centro.

I have a Blackberry Curve and love it (not a touch screen).

    My boyfriend loves his Tilt.
