Tough Enough’s second episode, Five for flinching: WWE News
The second episode of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) reality show, Tough Enough, was aired on 11 April. The show features the WWE legendary superstar, Stone Cold Steve Austin as the host. Bill DeMott, Trish Stratus and Booker-T are the trainers
of the reality series which is telecasted every Monday.
In the previous episode, the bottom three contestants; Eric Watts, Ariane Andrew and Michelle Deighton were grilled by Stone Cold. Watts and Michelle managed to convince Stone Cold, while Ariane was eliminated from the show by the Texas Rattle Snake. This
week’s episode started with Watts and Michelle returning to the mansion.
They told their fellows how tough the confrontation was with Stone Cold. The rest of the participants got shocked after they heard about the story from their house-mates. They understood that they will have a real tough time as the contest progresses.
The next day at the training ground, Stone Cold emphasised on courage. He told the contestants that they should be courageous to face any hurdle in life and if they lacked courage they won’t be given an opportunity in the WWE.
The Texas Rattle Snake said, “I want to talk to you guys this week about courage. In this life, in this world, it takes courage every single day. It takes a lot of courage just to climb to these ropes and anything can happen inside this ring. I’ve seen people
paralyse in this ring for the rest of their life and I’ve seen people die in this ring.”
Trish Stratus tested Matt Capiccioni by putting him in a personality drill. Matt impressed Trish with this his moves as she sent him to the ring for an exhibition match against the conceited yet proficient, Luke Robinson. Matt fell weak in the ring and Luke
took control of him to make an upset. Trish was disheartened but her impression transferred towards Luke who proved triumphant against Matt.
Bill DeMott was supposed to bang from the ring corner and slam every contestant on the mat during the training. The contenders had to bear the pain and get back on their feet. Everyone finished their task successfully but Ryan Howe struggled. Rima Fakih,
the reigning Miss USA, inspired Stone Cold and the trainers as everyone underestimated her with the last week’s performance.
WWE Superstar, John Cena, arrived to the training arena to advise the amateurs. All of them were very excited after John Cena appeared in front of them. John Cena said, “The best advice I can give you guys is to make the most of everyday. Don’t worry about
making it to WWE, worry about making it through tomorrow because if you don’t make it through tomorrow then I won’t see you ever again.”
Luke and Jeremiah Riggs developed a strong friendship, as they enjoyed at a drink party and entertained their fellows. Riggs interviewed Luke who imitated as Stone Cold. Luke also performed a ‘Stone Cold Stunner’ on Riggs to amuse everyone. On the other
hand, Ryan wrote letters to his girlfriend and Mickael Zaki teased him for that.
On the next day, Stone Cold assessed the courage of the participants by calling them outside and face the wrath of police dogs one by one. They were required to go beyond the dogs. Rima and Andy Leavine experienced the bites of the dogs though they were
all in protective gears.
After discussing with the trainers, the Texas Rattle Snake called out the three least tough people for the elimination who were Matt, Ryan and Rima. Stone Cold grounded Rima as she came twenty minutes late for the training and warned to beware in future.
Ryan influenced Stone Cold but Matt was to get eliminated because he did not show his experience in the ring. The Texas Rattle Snake snatched his WWE Tough Enough belt and asked him to pack up his things for home. Let’s wait for the next episode and watch
who is ‘Tough Enough’ for the show.
