Tough choices?

Well the time has come to buy a new bike. I have kinda narrowed it down to either the Ducati 1098 or the Aprilia 1000R. Rode the Ducati and it rocks but have yet to try the Aprilia hard bikes to find and I will more then likely end up buying on Ebay. Just wanted to toss this out here to see what has the majority vote.

I would go with the   Ducati and just incase either one does not impress me with the fact your buying one.

The 1098 is impressive. I don't get Aprilla at all. 3 years ago I never heard of them and now I hear all the time but never see them or their dealers. Seems like a bunch of hype for nothing. If I break down on a cross country I want to be on a Honda (dealer ever city). The last bike I want to be on is an Aprilla. NO dealers, period.

BTW when was the last time you heard anyone break down on a cross country riding a Honda?

yeah id say go with a Honda also, thats all i ride. Ive rode a bunch of bikes and Honda has been the most reliable for me. Thats why i now own 3 Hondas.  But since that doesnt answer your question, im gonna say take the 1098. Thats actully the bike im looking to get next! Aim for the 08 version ha it looks sick and plus its power... oh yeah.  +1 for Ducati
