does anyone know of any type of fights for money on a smaller scale for instance i used to fight in a strip club where i was paid under the table keeping my amature status

Your best bet would be to ask boxing gyms, they can tell you any upcoming events going on.

A few of the local papers in my area promote MMA events and amateur boxing. You would be best looking through the papers, google or stop by a couple your local boxing or BJJ gyms.
