  1. it will hurt like no other a tongue piercing is the most dangerous piercing on your whole body to get if the person that does it for you messes up  they can paralyze you

and all piercings can get infected if you dont take care of it and you cant take it out for a couple of weeks at first like an ear piercing and its one of those piercings if you dont like the hole wont close over very well it will eventually but not as good as ear or nose or eyebrow

tips are get it professionally done dont do it yourself or let a friend do it before the piercing person does it make sure you ask for a new needle and make sure that the ring you put in is one you like and in a place on your tongue that wont bother you and that you like

  2. i think it depends on the person's pain factor but honestly to me.. it did not hurt at all while i was getting it done! and the lady didnt even numb it.  it only hurt afterwards when i brushed my teeth and stuff..

no the thickness doesnt really matter you can just get a longer stick if your tongue is thicker.

ad i believe it can get infected, just be sure to clean it the best you can but dont take it out when you barely get it...!!

just brush your tongue often and do your best to clean it maybe dip a cotton swab in peroxide and just clean around it.

no you cannot see through the hole if you take it out.. its more like a slit!

and mine didnt bleed one drop. but my friends tongue bled a lot. so it depends if they bust a vein or not.. but if its professionally done you shouldnt have too much of a problem!

    hope i helped ya!

    :)

  3. Body piercing is a fashion statement that doesn't show any signs of waning. And that's o-k. I say to each his own. But if you are going to pierce your nose or your eyebrow or your lip of any number of other prime locations on your body -- at least consider the ramifications and don't lose sight of how important proper hygiene is. Know that the risks involved in body piercing are serious. There are genuine problems that can and do arise, and these should not be ignored. On the other hand, by employing certain precautions and taking proper care of your piercing, you can minimize your chance of having piercing problems and greatly increase the chances that you will be one of the millions of people who will end up with a healthy, normal piercing.

Anytime you stick a pointy object in your skin, you're taking a risk. Obviously if that object is a needle you're taking a BIG risk. But whatever it is that makes a hole, needs to be clean. What you do with your body is your business, but you're doing yourself a huge favor by putting emphasis on the following:

    1. Piercing infection. Without correct care, infection can bring scarring and a person can even get blood poisoning. You have to be very careful, because a piercing infection is not good and can turn into something dangerous if left unattended.

    2. Allergic Reaction. Some individuals are skin-sensitive to certain metals and find this out this only when they are get pierced and have a heavy reaction to jewelry. Experts recommend Titanium or Blackline body jewellery, as this is a completely pure metal. Your piercing will heal at a substantially faster rate with this body jewellery. This is because it is biologically inert.

  4. I think everyone getting their tongue pierced should have to pass a spelling test first.

    kidding

it hurts for a little while

thickness doesn't matter -just get a custom stud

It can get infected if you don't keep your mouth clean

    usually can't see thru

bleeds a little the first day

  5. Make sure it's done by a professional or they could pierce a vien and you could bleed to death.
