Touka Gettan is so confusing!!!... Why??

Question

I just finished watching the first ep... and I read that u have to watch it backwards?? from ep 26 [as the first ep] and ep 1 [as ep 26] why did they do this? If I watch it like this.. would I be able to understand the story better??

They aired it on TV in that order (backwards). Like that you see the ending and then see why that happened. I heard it was like that so the twist has a greater effect. If you watch from 26 to 1 it'll make more sense.
