why they call Toulouse(in France),the rose city?

=pourquoi on dit : "Toulouse est la ville rose"?

When you visit the city, or look at pictures of it, you will likely notice the warm colors in the bricks and and roof.  While you might not think it's all pink there are some pink-ish bricks, as well as oranges and reds and the roofs are orange.

The color in the bricks and the roof is from clay.

Because it is built mainly with bricks and they use local light red going on the pink clay to make the  bricks.

No it's not because people there see 'la vie en rose'

It's just because of the color of buildings, the stones
