Toulouse FC sign Umut Bulut from Turkish side Trabzonspor – Ligue 1 news

According to reports in French media, Bulut has signed a three-year contract with Les Pitchouns that would keep him at the Stadium Municipal until 2014. A fee in the region of 3.8 million Euros is rumoured to have been agreed between the two clubs.
Last season, Toulouse scored just 38 goals in the league which was the 13-th best record in Ligue 1. The Midi-Pyrenees club is now hoping that the arrival of Bulut would improve the club’s goal scoring average. The former Ankaragucu striker scored 67 goals for Trabzonspor in 161 games during his five-year stay at the Ankara-based club.
The club unveiled the 28-year-old in a press-conference. The striker said that he always wanted to play for one of the strongest leagues in Europe and revealed that he did not hesitate for a moment when he found out about the club’s interest in him.
