  1. I think a prime Foreman has a easy lock against Tyson, it wouldn't last more than eight rounds before George KOed Mike.  If Mike couldn't handle Holyfield, a prime Foreman has a easy KO in this one.

Dempsey vs Marciano is a whole nother story.  This one is epic, and worthy of the match ups toughguy tends to post.  I think both of these guys would be damaged goods at the end of it, neither would ever be the same again.  I give a slight edge to Marciano, and eventually Rock would pound Dempsey into submission, but it would take about 14 rounds that equalled or even surpassed the show Hagler and Hearns put on.  Marciano is the last man standing and the frist three rows of spectators will be as covered in blood as the ref when it ended.

You have to figure if guys like Ron Lyle and Jimmy Young could give Big George trouble, Forman would be able to take Marciano's shots any better than Walcott or Charles did.  The only question is could Big George KO Rock, before Marciano KOed George.  I don't see George taking the shots he did from Lyle, if it was Marciano landing them, and surviving.

Marciano takes your tournament in a couple of classic slugfests.

  2. George Foreman beat Mike Tyson in a slugfest. Rocky Marciano barely win against Jack Dempsey in a bloodbath. Since George Foreman stopped Mike Tyson within 5 rounds, he will has alot left. On the other hand, Rocky Marciano will be exhausted after the fight with Jack Dempsey. George Foreman will win.

  3. dempsey-marciano could go either way. foreman destroys tyson in 2 rds. foreman would ko dempsey in one. foreman-marciano would be an all out war whoever could take the more punishment would win. i think foreman is the one who would neutralize the rock.

  4. Easy, Chuck Norris comes in and kills them all with a single roundhouse kick.

  5. I would bet on Dempsey. Marciano is out of his weight class isn't he? Edit ok did the reseach and he's not out of his weight class, I just somehow always pictured Marciano to be a smaller guy. But after I see this. Ther is no reason at all to be believe that anyone of those guys could beat Marciano. I change my pick. Marciano!

  6. foreman kayo's tyson in 6 rounds

dempsey ~ marciano is a really tough one to call, but i pick marciano on the strength that he never lost a pro fight (although there is a rumour that a year or so before he offically turned pro, he had a pro bout under an assumed name and lost.....but thats another story)

foreman ~ marciano: wow! would big george do to the rock what he did to frazier?

would rocky get close enough to clobber foreman, and would he hurt him?

i will go for foreman to beat marciano, just because like frazier, he has the wrong style to beat him.

  7. TYSON would eat their children

  8. Marciano!

    Undefeated and un-tied!

He even beat Ali on a computer generated simulation years ago!

  9. you picked some of my all-time favs my brother... here goes my picks

    Tyson V.S. Foreman..

    Dempsey V.S. Marciano

Tyson would beat Foreman... in his prime tyson was thought to be better than even Ali

Dempsey would beat Marciano.... Dempsey was arguably the second best of all time after ali

Tyson V.S. Dempsey... i gotta go with tyson in his prime he was a great great fighter

    thanks

  10. 4 of the biggest hitters of all time and all great fighters in their own right, a prime Foreman just seems to stand out from the rest because he hit so hard, all 4 have punchers chances in the match ups but i would take Foreman to knock Tyson out of the ring and the match between Dempsey and Marciano to be the greatest fight in history in the biggest war in the history of boxing with these two explosive punchers knocking the c**p out of each other for the full 15 rounds and Marciano taking an extremely close points decision. In the final i would see Foreman taking Marciano out early unless the fight was in 100 degree heat and 90% humidity, i just cant see anyone living in the same ring as the Foreman that destroyed Joe Frazier.

  11. Foreman would ko Tyson, Dempsey would ko marciano with that left hook from h**l. Foreman-Dempsey would go 5 rds. With Foreman Winning it. Foreman only got knocked down once, and that was because of heat excuation. Foreman could take any punch, even that left hook from dempsey. also, foreman could hit like a locomotive, and sends dempsey out in the 5th.

  12. Foreman beats tyson silly, marciano defeats dempsey after a tough fight and then Foreman would beat marciano, the rock was way too small and slow foreman would have picked him apart with giving him the chance to fight back.

  13. FOREMAN VS TYSON

When thinking of this question, I remember back to the Foreman-Frazier fight. Frazier was feared and was tough as nails, Foreman destroyed him. Tyson's chin was not that good, he never fought any punchers like Foreman. Remember what Douglas did to him? Douglas was never considered a power puncher, yet he beat him up. Tyson was a bully. If he couldn't get you out early, he'd wear down. Foreman would play with him, then let Tyson walk onto an uppercut. Short but exciting fight.

    MARCIANO VS DEMPSEY

Both men were close to equals in the power department with Marciano having a slight advantage in stamina. Dempsey used that crouch just like Marciano so there would have been a lot of toe to toe exchanges with neither man giving an inch to the other. This could have been the fight for the ages as both men came to fight. Dempsey had a little more speed and Marciano probably had more guts and determination than any fighter who ever lived. I am picking Marciano by a split decision in a brutal fight between two warriors.

    FOREMAN VS MARCIANO

It would be a David-vs.-Goliath matchup, but I would have to favor Goliath (Foreman). Foreman--who has to be considered  the hardest puncher of all time--and would have an advantage in terms of trading with the Rock. Although Marciano would be too smart to play to his strengths, I just don't think he could take the punishment. The size disparity is too great. I could definitely see Marciano going the distance and tiring out Foreman (a la Ali), and maybe stealing the decision, but odds are that Foreman would get a TKO in the 6th rd.

    GEORGE FOREMAN WINS THE TOURNAMENT

  14. ok nicole is stupid and chuck norris has nothing to do with this, that was immature. if they were all in their prime, it would come down to foreman and marcianno and marciano would win it.

  15. Assuming Tyson is in the right frame of mind, in his best shape and trained by Kevin Rooney, he'll win it all.  Period
