Did Floyd Landis cheat? Is Greg LeMonds accusation about Lance Armstrong using something just Sour Grapes? Why would Greg LeMond make such accusations without adequate and compelling proof that Lance Armstrong did use something? I personally think Floyd cheated and I also think Greg LeMond is jealous since he is no longer the top dog of American Cycling. Lance Armstrong has proven for many years that he was/is the best at what he does and all of America should commend him for persevering thru all of his trials. I could be wrong so talk to me!

  1. Armstrong won 2nd place last week in the Leadville 100, a very difficult 100 mile mountain bike race. This is with minimal preparation, and without the support of a team/staff etc. I doubt a retired pro with no need to win anything else would dope, and yet he still is crazy strong. Did he dope in his career? Possibly before cancer, before he was known and before the reforms that came about in '98. Afterwards, he did it all himself -- he was tested so many times, and not only did he never fail a test, neither did anyone else on his team. Now, after his teammates went off to other teams, that's a different story...

  2. landis cheated.  he is the only one of those three we can say for sure.  i believe Greg has an honest desire to clean up a sport that has been riddled by doping.  i believe he saw doping on the rise during his time, and it has made him zealous and suspecious.  what armstrong did was incredible, and i think it is natural to wonder what if?  the bottom line is now, does it really matter?  he passed the tests for his time, and as far as cycling is concerned, armstrong was clean.
