Manchester City’s, Yaya Toure has gone on to hail Roberto Mancini as he admitted the manager has been rather exceptional this season.
In April, City were sitting a massive eight points behind Manchester United, but the way things have changed in the league, should City win their last league game of the season, they would go on to claim the Premier League crown.
Toure believes that one of the reasons for the team performing so well, is down to the fact that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini has got his tactics just right this season.
The City midfielder, when talking about his manager is reported to have said: "Full credit to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 – an unbelievable boss"
“He always believed in us, he always tries to tell us: 'Guys, you have to believe in yourselves. Man United can drop some points. The most important thing is that you have to keep on winning games.”
"And if we keep on winning we feel United can drop enough points for us. And we did it."
Before City’s match with Newcastle, the City boss went on to have a private word with Toure and it seems like whatever the manager said, seemed to do the trick. This is because the midfielder scored both the goals in the game as he helped his side maintain
their stay at the top of the league table.
However, despite that match winning performance from Toure, the Ivorian believes that the team still need to focus on their last game of the season, since it is still all to play for in the league.
He added: "[We are] very happy but I think the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 is not done yet we have to continue to win and look after Sunday.”
City have not won the league title in over forty years and a win now would go on to show just how far the team has come in recent years.
The club has been turning heads with its brilliant performances and should they start winning trophies on a regular basis, they could go down as being one of the best teams in Europe from here on out.
