Manchester City’s midfielder, Yaya Toure has gone on to express his delight with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini being offered a five year extension on his stay with the club.
Near the end of the previous season, it wasn’t confirmed whether the club would offer the manager an extension on his stay or not.
However, with him helping the team win the Premier League trophy, it seems like the owners went on to feel that he was the right man for the job.
The Italian was also linked with a potential move to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 of managing the national team. However, all those rumours were brushed aside when he put pen to paper on a five year extension with City.
Toure is amongst those who is rather delighted by the club’s decision to keep the manager around. The midfielder feels that Mancini can now help build the team for the future and this is going to help City become a major footballing force in Europe.

The Ivorian international is quoted to have said: “I was very happy to hear the news that our manager has signed a new five-year deal yesterday.”
“It is important for this club to have stability at all levels, especially after we have just won the title and the FA Cup the season before.”

“It means there will be no changes or disruption to what has proved a winning formula and for the long term, that can only be good for Manchester City.”
“Now the manager can continue to build this club and plan for the future – let’s not forget Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson has been at Manchester United for 25 years and they haven’t done too badly over the years.”
Toure’s future is currently still in major doubt. The midfielder had previously admitted that he wanted to move back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, but for the time being there hasn’t been much word on that situation.
Nonetheless, with Mancini now sticking with the club for the next five years, Toure could just end up doing the same as well.
It is now a wait to see just how http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 helps the team build on their success from the previous season.
