Manchester City’s midfielder, Yaya Toure has admitted that he would like to return to Barcelona someday, in order to end his career with the Spanish giants.
The midfielder went on to make his way to Manchester City for a fee of around twenty four million pounds in 2010. Ever since then, he has gone on to become a pivotal member of the City squad.
The Ivorian is currently on course to go on and claim his first ever Premier League title with Manchester City, should the team avoid any slip ups on the last day of the Premier League.
Despite the impact that the twenty eight year old has had at the Manchester based club, it seems like he is still intent on returning to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 one day, before he calls it quits on his career.
The City midfielder, when talking about his future and the possibility of a return to the Catalan club is reported to have said: "I would love to return to Barcelona and finish my career there"
"I love the city, and Barca has always been the club of my life. I love Barcelona.”
"In the press conference I did when I left, I said I would return. In life you never know what will happen tomorrow. If I could return, it would be great."
He then went on to talk about Pep Guardiola and his departure from the club, as he insisted that the team would do well in his absence, but that Guardiola was responsible for the team playing as well as they did in recent years.
He ended by stating: "It was a little strange, because Guardiola has been a key figure in the success of Barca. But we are all human.”
"I know the new coach very well. He is a very good person and his footballing philosophy is similar to Guardiola's. He will be a very good coach."
With Toure now being twenty eight years old, it is safe to assume that he would end up leaving City in the next couple of seasons, if he does intend on retiring at Barcelona.
