Yaya Toure, who has gone on to prove his worth in recent weeks, went on to score both the goals in the game and even went on to dominate the midfield.
The Ivorian international has now gone on to admit that he is looking forward to creating history with City and hopes to help the team lift the Premier League trophy.

Toure, when talking about winning the league and just how crucial it is to have a positive end to the season is quoted to have said: "We know it's going to be tough, but I believe in this team, I believe in the players we have. We have one match left to
play at home and we have to deliver in this game"
"Forty-four years is unbelievable, it is too many years. I have always said I came to think club to make history even if some people said I came for different things.”
"That is my first objective, to help make the club into a successful football club."
He then went on to applaud the club’s owners, as he admitted that they had made some very positive changes around the club, which went on to help the team go on and become one of the best in the business in a matter of months.
Toure went on to add: "Khaldoon [Al Mubarak] and [Sheikh] Mansour are doing incredibly well," he declared.
"They have signed big players and they want to make this club a great club, one of the best clubs in Europe, and they are going the right way.”
