I need to get a tourist visa for Egypt. If I go to the embassy here in D.C what will I need to bring? How long does it take? Will I need to leave my passport with them or is it just a really simple and quick task?

  3. Travelling from the UK, we can get a visa on entry into Egypt, so it may be possible for you to do the same thing. Why not give the Embassy a call and find out if this is possible for you to do. If you have to get a visa before you travel, you can ask them what you need to take with you to obtain your visa.
