I'm planning my vacations now, and many people told me that UK is a very good option to travel. Do you know an interesting place in the UK to go?

  1. The UK has so many places of interest.  I could suggest loads but you honestly wouldn't have time to visit them all.  Best to take a look around the websites and see what takes your fancy.  It all depends on what you like, touristy places?  Quiet scenery?  Bustling cities?  We have it all.  Enjoy your visit.

  2. EVERYWHERE!... I just got back from my 2nd trip there and it's amazing!... It honestly depends on what you want to be doing and seeing... if you want to shop... London no doubt or even Birmingham if you cant get to London. It also depends on how much time you have and money (my suggestion bring loads it goes fast). If you can visit Wales it's beautiful there but bring your umbrella. If you want to go all over the place then try Scotland as well I haven't been there quite yet but i heard it's gorgeous. Also, if you like theme parks at all try Alton Towers it's amazing! Other than that everywhere is pretty much a good spot to pick, you really can't go wrong in the UK if you don't get to everything on one trip it's always a thrill to go back again!... Almost forgot I heard the Isle of White is a good place to go and relax.

  6. You don't say how old you are or wether or not you will be bringing children on your trip, but I honestly think England would be the best country of the 4 countries in the UK to visit.

London is great but it might be a bit stressful if you have kids with you as a lot of the travel is done on the tube, and you are lucky if you get a seat and they are badly ventilated so kids would get annoyed pretty quickly lol

Also, as someone else said, if you are going to London bring plenty of money. I was there recently just for 3 days and spent hundreds.

Other than London, Cornwall is absolutely beautiful, as is the Lake District =]

    Enjoy your trip.

  7. It depends what sort of tourism you are interested in.

If you like history then all over the UK there are castles, churches old houses!  London of course has an immense amount of history and has great tour buses.  It also has the British Museum which is free and incredible!

Edinburgh is also really interesting for history.

If you like out doors things you want to go to the Lake District and walk the hills, or to Scotland and walk the munros, climb some amazing mountains and see beautiful views.

If you want a mixture of both, Scotland is still good.  You can easily get around and do outdoors things, but also be close enough to do city based things too.

For getting around cheaply .. www.megabus.com

Very cheap, if you book in advance.

    Hope this is a help

  8. You have a wide choice If you like atmosphere Edinburgh takes some beating . South of the border , York is a lovely city whilst apart fro the many attractions of London , the County of Kent nearby is quieter and has a host of attractions .
