How long can you stay legally in the Dominican Republic with a tourist visa? I think I remember that is was up to 90 days (although you have to pay a small fee at the end) but I'm not too sure...anybody know?

  1. Are you an American citizen?   If so, see 1st site and read section on visas under "Entry Requirements."  You just need a "tourist card"...oat a formal visa.  Stay is for 60 days.  See 2nd site to see that American and mexican citizens 9 among others) do not need visas and the policy on staying longer is very lenient.

  2. Hi Mexican...,

Yes on arrival you have to pay 10 US pp and on departure 20 US pp. this is valid for consecutive 90 days.

    Hope this helped.
