  1. It is safe to go provided that you must take the front seat so as to prevent your wife from miscarriage.  Also, you need to bring with you enough bottles of mineral water for her personal hygiene and for her to drink.

    GOD BLESS YOUR TRIP!!!!!

  2. Well I have had two kids and never heard about sitting in the front seat (and I was one of those "read everything, over cautious, if in doubt don't do it" types in both pregnancies

Officially the risk of miscarriages are reduced after 12 weeks, but at the same time you are encouraged to get out, walk and stay fit...so getting out is a good thing.

The only form of transport where there have been contradictory statements is travel by plane and this is not proven

I travelled all the time by train in my pregnancy - from Amsterdam to Paris (rather than by plane) and by bus & trams locally here after having checked this with my midwife who assured me there were no added risks

If you are in any doubt or your wife has had previous complications in pregnancy then it is of course wise to seek official medical advice personal to her circumstances (which no-one can give on Y!A), but travelling by bus and train is perfectly normal and safe for your wife and the baby.
