Tower fan vs Oscillating fan?

Which one is better?

I have a tower that osculates and I love it. I dislike the basic square or round fans that just shoot the air out. My tower has so many options for turn and speed, that I would not buy anything else.

Oscillating just means that the fan can partially rotate its air direction, which can apply to either type as I suspect you mean them.  For the same volume of air movement, the tower fan costs more.  But it seems to be more aesthetically pleasing for room decor.  So it's up to you to decide which factor is 'better'.

You can get both in one unit. I have one, and it works great.
